Product Details
Xiaoqinggan, officially known as "Xiaoqinggan Pu-erh tea", is a perfect fusion of tea branch citrus from the core production area of Xinhui, Guangdong, and aged Pu-erh ripe tea from Menghai, Yunnan. According to legend, during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, Luo Tianchi, a successful candidate in the imperial examination from Xinhui, accidentally brewed dried orange peel and Pu-erh together when returning home from his appointment in Yunnan. He discovered that the resulting tea had an excellent taste and could alleviate colds, and thus, Ganpu tea became popular among the people. We adhere to ancient methods, harvesting green, immature fruits in midsummer when their aromatic oil content is at its peak. We then remove the flesh and fill the cavity with high-quality cooked tea leaves. After undergoing dozens of meticulous processes such as fruit washing, tea filling, natural sun-drying, or low-temperature baking, this reprocessed tea product is finally created. The tea infuses the fruit with aroma, while the fruit carries the tea flavor, resulting in a harmonious blend of both elements.
